I have been a patient of Dr. Scholes and his staff at Holly Dental for many years. In that time, I have utilized services ranging from semi-annual cleanings, to fillings, to cosmetic repairs. Dr. Scholes and his team exude professionalism, while maintaining personal warmth and an inviting feel. They have never forgotten my name; continually recall my family status and takes not of my busy professional schedule. Moreover, they handle all aspects of my dental care, whether providing basic cleanings, filling cavities (my bad habits) or providing cosmetic repairs (4 front teeth) with an expertise and attention to detail that is unsurpassed. In short, my teeth have never looked or felt better and when I need dental services, Dr Scholes and Holly Dental are the first and hopefully only ones I will ever have to call.

Our Family has been part of the Holly Dental practice for approximately 20 years…through to the first year of Dr. Landis Scholes assumed the practice. For the last 11 years we have lived in England and have been quite unsatisfied with our dental care, so upon moving my daughter back stateside, I opted to return to our “dental home” with Holly to have quite a lot of work taken care of.

The relaxed atmosphere of the office, the staff does make the experience of going to the dentist a much easier process. I immensely appreciated the timeliness of getting in at for near my appointment time, having the staff work around getting my dentistry in and completed before my return home. It would be difficult for me to single out a staff member as everyone contributes to the care and quality of the dentistry. The staff often went above and beyond to ensure my experience was as “painless” as possible from the moment I arrived for my first appointment, to the farewell hugs on my last appointment for my return to England.

Both of my adult children also elect to go to Holly Dental, as well as my daughter in law, who has great fears, and after my convincing, has gone to Holly and met with the same wonderful care that I have received. She also relayed it has been the most positive experience for her as well.

Thank you to each of you at Holly for your loving care, professionalism, your drive to provide the best possible care to your patients, especially those like me, who have such anxiety about going to the dental office!

I just wanted to say how much I appreciate your services. Every experience has been positive in your office. The staff is wonderful and the front desk girls are always friendly and right on top of everything. Jill is always gentle when cleaning my teeth and is very easy to talk to. Gina is very attentive and has a wonderful sense of humor. Then there’s Dr. Nielsen, the best. I’ve had several different services (fillings, caps, whitening and more) and he has always done an excellent job. I can’t thank you all enough.

Hi Everyone!
Just wanted to say how much we appreciate your great service and big smiles. Dave and I have been coming to Dr Scholes for our dental needs for over 12 years since he first started his practice at Holly Dental. And, because of his exceptional service, kindness, and gentleness we continue to see him at least twice a year for cleanings and care, even though in the year 2002 we moved to Wyoming, he is worth the 3 hour drive! When he first started his practice I was in need of a dentist and in extreme pain, I called his office in the middle of the night and got a recording with an emergency phone # to call. I called the # and Dr Scholes called me right back, and prescribed a pain killer to get me through the night until he could see me the next day. I was shocked that the Dr himself would call me late at night and from that point on I knew he was the only dentist for me. He is a truly caring person, a gifted Dr, and so gentle, I enjoy seeing him each and every time. The girls in the office, each and every one of them are friendly, caring and helpful, so a big thank you to all for all you have done for Dave and I!

Yep, believe it or not, I almost look forward to seeing the dentist! Dr. Neilsen has been a true blessing. Between the three of us in my family, we have had a lot of work done. Dr. Nielsen goes out of his way to make sure everything is comfortable and painless. He spends a lot of time explaining what is going on and what to expect. He takes little breaks during his work to make sure everything is fine and he has even gone as far as meeting me in the office on a Sunday once. Holly offers excellent, emergency on-call care that will never leave someone in pain! The whole staff is very caring and conscientious. My hygienist always screens for signs of cancer or other problems. She spotted a tiny nodule in my throat that needed to be removed. The ENT specialist was very impressed with the work she had done to find this while it was still minute and uncomplicated. Holly Dental Associates is THE BEST!!!
